"I live in Budapest more or less permanently and during the past couple of years I have been to several clubs and had many experiences. What I’d definitely like to share with you is that what you read on this site is pretty much 100% true. Where the site says be careful about a certain club, don’t even try to go to that place, because all visits will inevitably go wrong. But there are a few good places though, the ones they write about here, and my favourite is Royal Palace. There I’ve never once been disappointed and they’ve always been real friendly with me. The bill was always correct and for example in the weekends there loads of girls. I’ve got to know the staff pretty well, they know me too, and since I’m a regular the manager usually gives me a 20-30% discount off everything. Their new club has just opened in the centre, it’s called P1. That’s not really my style though, it’s too modern for me, the music is too loud, the girls are too young – for me they are, anyway - but I’m sure that’s exactly what many people are after, so for them I guess it comes highly recommended. The management totally guarantees that even in that bar you’ll be safe, get high quality entertainment and have a great time."

"It wasn’t more than two weeks ago in Budapest that I took a cab outside my hotel and I asked the driver to take me to the club called Royal Palace. I immediately got suspicious, because I was more or less aware of where that club is, but the driver took me out of the centre. I asked him if he was sure he knew where we were supposed to go and he told me he was and I shouldn’t worry. Soon enough we arrived at a suburban road, something like an industrial area, even though there were houses as well. The sign on the place said ROYAL DELIGHT, not ROYAL PALACE. I told the driver that I asked for ROYAL PALACE. He said that had been closed and this had been opened instead. I immediately knew he was lying, because previously in the hotel I read the website of Royal Palace and it didn’t mention the club being moved. I found another cab (which wasn’t easy) and that finally took me to Royal Palace. I think people should be alert about whether taxi drivers are taking them to where they actually want to go, because if I’m not this careful, I easily could have been tricked."

They operate together with those night clubs, which are specialized to this, and they talk the tourists out of their original destination, and deliver the guests to such places, where they are stiffed and damaged. The most dangerous type are those taxi drivers, who are waiting in front of the hotels. Almost all of them are working for those corrupt bars. You should not choose these drivers by no means!!!
You can check on our website in the blacklist column the actual list of clubs which are mostly cooperating with the taxi mafia.
We also would like to attract your attention that not every club chooses this way. There are clubs which ensure correct hospitality and provide absolutely safe entertainment possibilities. The biggest problem appears when the taxi driver deviates the guest from his original destination with such lies that the club is not operating anymore or the entry ticket is too expensive, etc. That is why we suggest everyone insisiting on your chosen destination, and don't let yourself deviate and stiff.
