"I admit that the only reason that I dared visit the P1 when I was travelling around is that I read so much about it. Really I didn’t find even a single negative comment about them in my net surfing, so I thought nothing too bad was going to happen to me, either. I requested the platinum voucher I saw on the webpage in a text message, and it arrived almost immediately. And I asked for their car to come get me from the hotel, which was waiting there a half hour later right in front of the hotel. The service was perfect to that point, so I was curious about whether is was as great as they all write. I got there just a bit before midnight, and there were already quite a few people there, a pretty big English group, and there was somebody at almost every table. People were in really high spirits. The girls bustled about, and the whole place was like a big party where I just wandered in. The staff greeted me really kindly and got me a table, so I showed them my voucher in my text message, paid the fee and they got me my first drink right away. The voucher guaranteed me as much as I could drink for the whole night, so I didn’t feel rushed, and I started to enjoy myself. After the second drink, a very pretty blonde girl very politely took a seat next to me. She couldn’t have been more than 20, and she asked me if I desired her company. From then on I spent the evening with her and later with one of her girlfriends, which in the end turned out to be one of the most memorable of my life. Of course I know perfectly well that these girls do this every day, and it’s their job to entertain the current guest, but believe me, the do it in such a professional way that your forget about that, and the whole thing is like you got to know them at a party. Anyway, they’re gorgeous, with a good sense of humour, and great company. Within a couple of hours I wound up in private with both of them. At first one at a time, then, when we were really feeling good, all three of us at the same time. The private dance is 10000 forints, which is €40 for ten minutes. You shouldn’t be thinking of the American system here, because in practice everything is allowed except sex, and the whole thing was really erotic and relaxed. So really €40 was just a pittance. In the end I wound up spending more than 4 hours in the P1 and I can say I’ve gained an unforgettable experience. I didn’t get a taxi home, since the hotel was just a couple of minutes on foot, which felt good after an evening like that. "

"I just want to confirm the previous comments, P1 is by far the best club from every aspect and I can tell this from my own experience. I’ve been going to Budapest on a monthly basis for several years due to my job. Well, I went to a few clubs, at first I tried a new club every time, I was exploring the places. For a while Hallo-bár was my favorite, until two years ago when P1 opened its doors. When I traveled to Budapest again, my friends talked to me about a new place that had just recently opened and was by far the best among all the others. Well, I didn’t need too much persuasion, I immediately went to check out the new place, and it was indeed truly the best. It’s an awesome, electrifying place, and I’ve loved it since. In addition to being head and shoulders above all the other clubs, it’s absolutely safe and I have never been cheated out of even a cent. I usually buy a voucher locally in the club, it costs only 20 Euros, and it’s good for unlimited number of drinks. I know this may sound unbelievable to many of you, but it’s guaranteed to be true. This way I know how much money I will spend, give or take some additional money spent on girls, if I feel like it. The bottom line is, if you want the best of all, this is the place for you, you won’t be disappointed."

"I’ve read a lot of posts about this club saying that it is more of a pre- or post-party place than a strip club. Well, last weekend I looked into it, and I think they’re wrong. In my opinion it’s a top-notch strip club, and the atmosphere is always formed by the patrons. I managed to experience that over the course of the evening when I was there with my friends for like 6 hours, and the clientele turned over several times. There was a great big group there who were celebrating something, but there were serious businessmen there to have more reserved fun. The atmosphere and character of the place always changed in accordance with whoever was in the club at the time. The behaviour of the girls was definitely dependant on who they were partying with at the time. It was really interesting to watch through to the end of the evening, and anyway had a perfect time. Everybody was really nice, the dancing girls were unusually beautiful, and the prices were very favourable by European standards, if you take into consideration that for 20 euros we could drink all we could manage for two hours. One thing’s for sure, like they said in a lot of other posts, it’s a good place for a pretty young crowd. I’ll second that."

"People are talking about the Palace lounge and P1 all over the place, just as you will find on right here. Everybody says these two clubs are the gold standard, so when I came to Budapest, I came here first. It’s well known that both clubs have the same owner, so I figured that there wouldn’t be any big difference in quality. The two places are very close to one another, basically one on each side of the Basilica, so you can get from one to the other in about five minutes on foot. I started off in the Palace Lounge at about 11 p.m. on Friday, and there were already quite a lot of people there. Upstairs you’ll find a restaurant, that’s the Lounge, and downstairs is the club. I went downstairs right away, where there’s a rather rambling space with two big rooms, with the VIP chambers in the back, which is where I spent most of the evening. In my opinion, the owners outdid themselves, the wallpaper is really nice, tie tiles, the textiles, and everything is really tasteful. I felt right at home immediately, which was a great feeling in a foreign capital in a totally alien place. Here the staff played a really big role in that, because the girls and the servers were really kind and saw to my every wish. The bill, if I didn’t ask otherwise, they brought immediately after my order, so I could keep track of the prices and there were no surprises. As I said, after the Lounge I walked over to the P1 to have a look. The style is totally different, more of an entertainment place than a classic strip bar. The P1 is essentially one big space that you can see right across, with a big bar at the back opposite the dancing area, with little VIP rooms to the rear. The young crowd all reflect the sleek, hip decor and I got the impression that they were all on their way to or from partying, but I can more easily imagine spending the whole night in the Palace. I guess that’s because of my age, because in the P1 the music was pretty lively, and I was surrounded by youngsters, and I couldn’t hide, the way I easily could in the Palace. But I’m sure there’s a deliberate marketing strategy lurking here, because it really seems like the owners deliberately tried to target two discreet age groups, maybe even more so, owing to the fact that the two places are so close to each other. In a nutshell, all I’d really like to say here about my experiences is that both places are really fine, totally safe and really above-board, the girls are really pretty and kind, so I really came away with nothing but good impressions. I can recommend it to one and all. Just go ahead and visit both places with confidence. "

Positive features
This Club employs the most beautiful girls in the city. The number of girls varies between 20 - 25 each day. The atmosphere and the environment have high standards and the service is appropriate. Warm meal is served between 6 p.m. and midnight. /According to our experiences, the food is excellent. Beside this, there's a 50 € cupon, you can spend it inside. But do not take any taxi because the cupon is valid for only those guests who are transferred to the club by their free car service, call 36 20 222-44-22 for that. The clientele is exclusive.
Negative features
Unfortunately, sometimes there are no free tables.

I’ve been living right here in Budapest for a while, and on the weekend I was lucky enough to visit the brand new Palace Lounge in the city centre. The people who live here know that the Palace was the most above-board and safest bar, which has now moved out of Buda and opened a fantastic, really distinctive and modern place right by the Basilica. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Anyway my friends and I decided on Saturday night to pay a visit on the club. Were really curious about what they might do different in the new location. After all, the old place was great, one of the best in Budapest. Well, it knocked our socks off!! As soon as we stepped in, we couldn’t say a word; it was like we weren’t even in Budapest any more. The colours, the atmosphere, enthralled both of us - words just can’t describe it. The staff know me on sight from the old location, so they gave me a warm welcome. The manager gave us a tour of the whole premises, which are larger - much larger - than the previous ones. Upstairs is he Lounge. The decor here is entirely different from downstairs. In effect, it’s a fantastically relaxing out-of-this-world restaurant and cocktail bar section, a genuine entertainment lounge and a lot of fun. Here they entertain guests who come not just for the girls, but for a dinner, drink and a coffee. Downstairs you’ll find the CLUB. CLUB with all capital letters, because it’s a club to the bone. I noticed, I really must say, that they really got the most out of the place, not just in the colours, but the furnishings, too. Anyway the downstairs consists of several rooms, each with a different character. There are two big rooms, and several VIP rooms, which furnished so you can only stop and stare. Amazing wallpaper, draperies cushy armchairs and plenty of room...in a word, truly VIP. They took us in the back, too, and showed us the kitchen. I don’t know too much about it, but it looked like a really pro set-up. Two cooks bustled about, and it was surprisingly big and well-equipped. When it comes right down to it, we were less interested in the kitchen than in the girls. I honestly don’t know how they do it! There have been gorgeous girls working in the Palace till now anyway, but here in this new place the beauty of the girls was second to none. Just like the place, the staff were all new, and there was a great improvement in quality here, too. I’ve been to one or two places in Budapest, but here all of the girls are incomparably more beautiful...like if all the hotties worked here, and all the rejects from Place go find jobs in the other places in Budapest. Because the new Place is way more modern and better looking than the original, the mood as also somehow lots better, too. It’s more comfortable, colourful and spacious, the girls are prettier, and for me the location is far superior, as well, since I live in the city centre, basically just a short walk from here. My friend and I can’t think about anything else but resisting the temptation for coming here every day and becoming Palace addicts, because if I had my way, I’d spend every evening in this enchanting place..:)

Last week I was at Palace and I had a great time, as usual. I talked to the staff and they told that they’d moved to the centre of town at the end of September, so this was the last time for me at the old place. I came here a lot and this was my favourite one among all of the other places. I always got the utmost - the girls were likable, pretty and nice, and the staff were proper, too. I can’t even mention another place in Budapest which is honest and secure like this. I hope the new business will be at a similar level, it will be friendly and offer a free atmosphere and if so, I’m positive that they will be just as successful as they were here. I’m going to miss Palace, but it’s OK because I’m really excited and curious about what’s waiting for me at the new one!! I’m keeping my keep fingers crossed, Palace, and thanks for everything!!

Palace continues to be a massive favourite! For me a discreet and intimate atmosphere is of the essence, I don’t care for places that are too busy, too loud. Also, I think it is here that the girls are the most beautiful, and of course in P1, but that’s a bit crowded and modern for me. What I most like about Palace is that it’s a real old school bar, it’s not outrageous, but comfy, discreet, almost cosy. The service is impeccable, I’ve always found the atmosphere great.

A small, cozy club on the Buda side of Budapest, not far from the centre. When I arrived there I was a little confused because I didn’t exactly know where I was, but then I figured out I was near Chain Bridge, about a mile away from it. The first thing you have to know about Palace is that if you ask for the club’s own car instead of a taxi, they will take you there for free and you don’t have to pay the entrance fee either. They fortunately don’t have anything like obligatory purchases or any other similar tricks to rip you off. You do have to call a cab when you go home, though, or the car of the club can take you back, but this time you have to pay for it. I thought it was interesting that you can also eat at Palace. When I was there for the second time, I did try it, I had a full dinner. It was really nice and tasty, definitely comes recommended. Another interesting thing is that you can access the VIP rooms through the kitchen. It’s quite funny actually, it feels a little like you’re in a movie. Both the staff and the girls were top notch, that’s why we went back there the second day. They were really nice and honest, and the prices were reasonable too, everything was superb, really. It’s worth taking advantage of the coupons found on the www.palacebudapes.com website, you can download and print them from the net. We chose the one for 20 Euros and took it with us, for which we got free drinks for two hours. I think it’s impossible to beat an offer like that, especially considering that we also got there for free and we didn’t have to pay on the door either. A night like this could not have cost less, we got excellent service from an attentive staff even though we were in a nightclub, which, at the end of the day, is usually not the cheapest form of entertainment. I definitely recommend this club to everyone who likes smaller, more intimate, club like bars.

For us the night was beyond unforgettable. We were celebrating the birthday of a very good Hungarian friend of mine at Royal Palace. The club was his choice, he said this is the bar most Hungarians go to since it is the most reliable one in town. Well, we weren’t disappointed at all, it totally blew our minds away. The best part of the evening was a girl called Carmen, her beauty, her style, she is gorgeous… The prices are absolutely OK, we even got a ride there and back, entrance was also free, so we had even more money money to spend on ourselves. I must mention how professional the attitude of the staff is and what a relaxed and cool atmosphere they create, congratulations are absolutely in order. If you go to Budapest, you should definitely visit this place, I rarely have such a good time like I did here. Thanks for everything, Nielsen.

I arrived home from Budapest last week, however, I am still under the influence of it. I held my bachelor farewell party at Royal Palace, and I can tell it was perfect. This club is simply fantastic. The girls are not only beautiful but the ones who like parties, and also intelligent. We were given a show that I will not ever forget. At the end of it I caught myself standing in the middle of the stage without trousers and everyone almost died with laughter. Never mind. Bachelor farewell party is once in a lifetime. If you go to Budapest with a similar aim, or if you would simply like to have a party, I do recommend Royal Palace to you, do not miss it anyway!!!

I live in Budapest more or less permanently and during the past couple of years I have been to several clubs and had many experiences. What I’d definitely like to share with you is that what you read on this site is pretty much 100% true. Where the site says be careful about a certain club, don’t even try to go to that place, because all visits will inevitably go wrong. But there are a few good places though, the ones they write about here, and my favourite is Royal Palace. There I’ve never once been disappointed and they’ve always been real friendly with me. The bill was always correct and for example in the weekends there loads of girls. I’ve got to know the staff pretty well, they know me too, and since I’m a regular the manager usually gives me a 20-30% discount off everything. Their new club has just opened in the centre, it’s called P1. That’s not really my style though, it’s too modern for me, the music is too loud, the girls are too young – for me they are, anyway - but I’m sure that’s exactly what many people are after, so for them I guess it comes highly recommended. The management totally guarantees that even in that bar you’ll be safe, get high quality entertainment and have a great time.

For me Royal Palace is the only actually reliable club in Budapest with a real atmosphere. Every year during the Formula 1 we visit Budapest with my mates. We have never once missed a chance to go to the Royal Palace and it has yet to disappoint us. I do recommend this Club to everybody who wants to have a good time without unpleasant surprises. There I have always enjoyed high standard services and the biggest number of the most beautiful girls in Budapest also work there.
