Negative features
In the outskirts of the 11th district of Budapest, this is a new, partly open-air club, also serving warm food, very far from the city centre. We found no webpage or any other form of marketing, they seem to get most of their clients solely with the help of taxi drivers. Since this club pays one of the highest per client fees to taxi drivers, based on our previous experiences we do not recommend visiting this club. Please be careful with all clubs recommended to you by a taxi driver in Budapest, and this one is no exception.

This place has been closed by the authorities for a month, and as far as I know, they won’t be opening it again.

I am extremely disappointed! Because I read on the website of Royal Delight that it would be just a few minutes away from the centre. I caught a taxi and asked the driver to get me there. Actually I did not measure how long it really took to get there but definitely it was not just a few minutes. The driver took me to a street somewhere in the outer districts of the town where I found a club far behind my expectations. Well, I did not stay there either. Both the club and the staff and the girls were quite uninviting. I got the driver take me back to the downtown. He asked almost EUR 100 for the tour so I paid a bag of money for nothing.

This place is catastrophic, everybody stay away from it! Unfortunately I was told by the cab driver of my hotel to go there, but now I know he only did it to have me robbed, for which he got a nice little fee. The place is so unsophisticated, the services so poor that it’s not worth even a fragment of how much they make you pay at the end. The other thing is it’s in the suburbs, very far from the centre, so afterwards I had to walk miles to find a cab and I didn’t even know where I was. Learn from my mistake and if you don’t want to pay 200 Euros for a horrible evening, don’t ever go here.

It wasn’t more than two weeks ago in Budapest that I took a cab outside my hotel and I asked the driver to take me to the club called Royal Palace. I immediately got suspicious, because I was more or less aware of where that club is, but the driver took me out of the centre. I asked him if he was sure he knew where we were supposed to go and he told me he was and I shouldn’t worry. Soon enough we arrived at a suburban road, something like an industrial area, even though there were houses as well. The sign on the place said ROYAL DELIGHT, not ROYAL PALACE. I told the driver that I asked for ROYAL PALACE. He said that had been closed and this had been opened instead. I immediately knew he was lying, because previously in the hotel I read the website of Royal Palace and it didn’t mention the club being moved. I found another cab (which wasn’t easy) and that finally took me to Royal Palace. I think people should be alert about whether taxi drivers are taking them to where they actually want to go, because if I’m not this careful, I easily could have been tricked.
