We have had mixed experiences with this club. It is a place typically tailored for not-so-well-off British tourists, even lower quality is hard to find. It has the interior design of an air-raid shelter in an arched cellar with shabby furniture. The latter consists of an unfortunate pairing of wooden chairs and glass tables. The only thing you might actually like here is how low the prices are. They charge practically as much as pubs in the centre do. Despite being run by British owners, the place shows no traces of this in the quality of the interior design or of the service, but we have to give it to them that we have not heard of any overbilling, scams or tricks here so far. According to the Budapest Sexguide this place is moderately recommended.

Well, I was here once and I must say it didn’t quite live up to the expectations. I’ve been to a couple of places all over Europe, but I’ve never come across another strip bar so run down, so austere looking. When I was there, a group of Britons were wreaking havoc at the bar, celebrating something in a way that was totally inappropriate even for a place like that. The girls were impolite and looked like they couldn’t care less, the service is not worth a rat’s ass and the whole design is horrible. I can’t think of a single thing that would make me want to visit this place again, I don’t recommend it to anyone.

This place was a real disappointment to me.. It is true that I do not go to such places, but now I think I will not ever. I expected much higher standards and much more comfort. And the girls did not fascinate me either mainly compared with those at an average entertainment place in Budapest. Prices were not dangerous, however, this could be the only positive fact I can tell. I do not recommend it to anyone. Surely, there are much better clubs in Budapest.

What I can’t get my head around is how this club can advertise itself with its Western European owner, but provide quality that’s straight from the Balkans... One thing is for sure: it doesn’t at all meet my expectations. In fact, I wouldn’t even call 4play a night club, it’s more like a small trattoria hastily reworked without offering any comfort or quality. It might be the right choice for people who don’t care about anything but the price, though, since beer costs the same as in a pub. Due to which the place was full of drunken, shouting Britons, something I couldn’t put up with for longer than 10 minutes, after which I duly retreated.

The 4play is not a nite club but a bad joke......I'll never go back!!!!!!!! Awful, no class place.
