"I admit that the only reason that I dared visit the P1 when I was travelling around is that I read so much about it. Really I didn’t find even a single negative comment about them in my net surfing, so I thought nothing too bad was going to happen to me, either. I requested the platinum voucher I saw on the webpage in a text message, and it arrived almost immediately. And I asked for their car to come get me from the hotel, which was waiting there a half hour later right in front of the hotel. The service was perfect to that point, so I was curious about whether is was as great as they all write. I got there just a bit before midnight, and there were already quite a few people there, a pretty big English group, and there was somebody at almost every table. People were in really high spirits. The girls bustled about, and the whole place was like a big party where I just wandered in. The staff greeted me really kindly and got me a table, so I showed them my voucher in my text message, paid the fee and they got me my first drink right away. The voucher guaranteed me as much as I could drink for the whole night, so I didn’t feel rushed, and I started to enjoy myself. After the second drink, a very pretty blonde girl very politely took a seat next to me. She couldn’t have been more than 20, and she asked me if I desired her company. From then on I spent the evening with her and later with one of her girlfriends, which in the end turned out to be one of the most memorable of my life. Of course I know perfectly well that these girls do this every day, and it’s their job to entertain the current guest, but believe me, the do it in such a professional way that your forget about that, and the whole thing is like you got to know them at a party. Anyway, they’re gorgeous, with a good sense of humour, and great company. Within a couple of hours I wound up in private with both of them. At first one at a time, then, when we were really feeling good, all three of us at the same time. The private dance is 10000 forints, which is €40 for ten minutes. You shouldn’t be thinking of the American system here, because in practice everything is allowed except sex, and the whole thing was really erotic and relaxed. So really €40 was just a pittance. In the end I wound up spending more than 4 hours in the P1 and I can say I’ve gained an unforgettable experience. I didn’t get a taxi home, since the hotel was just a couple of minutes on foot, which felt good after an evening like that. "

"I just want to confirm the previous comments, P1 is by far the best club from every aspect and I can tell this from my own experience. I’ve been going to Budapest on a monthly basis for several years due to my job. Well, I went to a few clubs, at first I tried a new club every time, I was exploring the places. For a while Hallo-bár was my favorite, until two years ago when P1 opened its doors. When I traveled to Budapest again, my friends talked to me about a new place that had just recently opened and was by far the best among all the others. Well, I didn’t need too much persuasion, I immediately went to check out the new place, and it was indeed truly the best. It’s an awesome, electrifying place, and I’ve loved it since. In addition to being head and shoulders above all the other clubs, it’s absolutely safe and I have never been cheated out of even a cent. I usually buy a voucher locally in the club, it costs only 20 Euros, and it’s good for unlimited number of drinks. I know this may sound unbelievable to many of you, but it’s guaranteed to be true. This way I know how much money I will spend, give or take some additional money spent on girls, if I feel like it. The bottom line is, if you want the best of all, this is the place for you, you won’t be disappointed."

"I’ve read a lot of posts about this club saying that it is more of a pre- or post-party place than a strip club. Well, last weekend I looked into it, and I think they’re wrong. In my opinion it’s a top-notch strip club, and the atmosphere is always formed by the patrons. I managed to experience that over the course of the evening when I was there with my friends for like 6 hours, and the clientele turned over several times. There was a great big group there who were celebrating something, but there were serious businessmen there to have more reserved fun. The atmosphere and character of the place always changed in accordance with whoever was in the club at the time. The behaviour of the girls was definitely dependant on who they were partying with at the time. It was really interesting to watch through to the end of the evening, and anyway had a perfect time. Everybody was really nice, the dancing girls were unusually beautiful, and the prices were very favourable by European standards, if you take into consideration that for 20 euros we could drink all we could manage for two hours. One thing’s for sure, like they said in a lot of other posts, it’s a good place for a pretty young crowd. I’ll second that."

"People are talking about the Palace lounge and P1 all over the place, just as you will find on right here. Everybody says these two clubs are the gold standard, so when I came to Budapest, I came here first. It’s well known that both clubs have the same owner, so I figured that there wouldn’t be any big difference in quality. The two places are very close to one another, basically one on each side of the Basilica, so you can get from one to the other in about five minutes on foot. I started off in the Palace Lounge at about 11 p.m. on Friday, and there were already quite a lot of people there. Upstairs you’ll find a restaurant, that’s the Lounge, and downstairs is the club. I went downstairs right away, where there’s a rather rambling space with two big rooms, with the VIP chambers in the back, which is where I spent most of the evening. In my opinion, the owners outdid themselves, the wallpaper is really nice, tie tiles, the textiles, and everything is really tasteful. I felt right at home immediately, which was a great feeling in a foreign capital in a totally alien place. Here the staff played a really big role in that, because the girls and the servers were really kind and saw to my every wish. The bill, if I didn’t ask otherwise, they brought immediately after my order, so I could keep track of the prices and there were no surprises. As I said, after the Lounge I walked over to the P1 to have a look. The style is totally different, more of an entertainment place than a classic strip bar. The P1 is essentially one big space that you can see right across, with a big bar at the back opposite the dancing area, with little VIP rooms to the rear. The young crowd all reflect the sleek, hip decor and I got the impression that they were all on their way to or from partying, but I can more easily imagine spending the whole night in the Palace. I guess that’s because of my age, because in the P1 the music was pretty lively, and I was surrounded by youngsters, and I couldn’t hide, the way I easily could in the Palace. But I’m sure there’s a deliberate marketing strategy lurking here, because it really seems like the owners deliberately tried to target two discreet age groups, maybe even more so, owing to the fact that the two places are so close to each other. In a nutshell, all I’d really like to say here about my experiences is that both places are really fine, totally safe and really above-board, the girls are really pretty and kind, so I really came away with nothing but good impressions. I can recommend it to one and all. Just go ahead and visit both places with confidence. "

Positive features
A club of European standards has been opened downtown in April 2009, in our understanding with a West-European management. Its location is perfect, it is in the proximity of the biggest hotels, right next to St. Stephen’s Basilica, in the heart of the city centre. The club has a first class interior satisfying everyone’s needs, friendly, of high quality, but not ostentatious. Both the staff and the service are among the best in town according to early feedback and in our own experience as well. Service is of the highest quality, we are not aware of overbilling or any other activity going on to rip off tourists. About 15-20 girls work at the same time each night, if we had to give points, we would give the maximum to each and every one of them for both appearance and personality. We hope that they will be able to maintain the mind blowing standards of the debuting weeks and in P1 Budapest will finally have its own top quality club.

it was two years ago that I last went to Budapest. before I got there I checked the internet about what the places to go to are and that’s how I found P1. all of my Hungarian friends confirmed this, nobody had a bad word to say about this club and now in retrospect I definitely can’t complain either. I don’t think it’s like any other club in Budapest, both its style and atmosphere set it apart from the others. it has a category of its own, I guess, more like a cross between a disco and a bar than your traditional night club, but the bottom line is: I went there three times while I was in Budapest. it’s the most honest place ever, no sign of any fraud or overbilling. the girls are way hotter than anywhere else. you can compare it to any other European club, you don’t get stuff like this anywhere else. there is a totally relaxed vibe, the staff aren’t rigid or anything, you don’t feel like you’re only being entertained because they want your money. the interior design of the club is also very cool and comfy. the only thing that put me off somewhat was the smoke. unfortunately public smoking is still not banned in Hungary and since I don’t smoke I was proper irritated. but apart from that I can’t but praise this place, it’s definitely recommended to everyone!

Last year we were there at the Formula 1 and we are sure to go back this year again. What I’m a bit afraid of is everybody coming to where we’re going, causing the place to become overcrowded. But this is the only place where you’re safe and there are like 40 gorgeous girls working there and in my experience there aren’t many taboos, those birds are everything but shy!

I’m glad to read this previous post because we’re going to the Formula 1 to Budapest soon with a couple of mates and we’re looking for a trustable club with nice girls. I’ve already read many positive things about P1 earlier, but what I read here convinces me even more that P1 should be the place we visit. Looking at the club’s homepage and Facebook page we can hardly wait to be there, to be honest. Afterwards when I come back home, I promise I’ll do a quick writeup to let you know what it was like.

Let me share with you a good experience I had last year: As you do, I was browsing the web to try to find the best place to go. All the negative feedback about certain clubs was somewhat alarming, but both my friends and I were so horny that we felt if we are in Budapest we should not miss our chance, because everybody knows that hot girls like the Hungarians are impossible to find anywhere else. We were there for the Formula 1 race for 4 days and we later found out we made the best possible decision. We went to P1, which had just been opened. It was a fresh club and all we read about it was good. Seriously: no other club had so many great reviews like P1, which was also in the centre of the city, near our hotel, so we literally felt like we had no choice but check this place out. The girls on the website nearly mesmerised us and we could not believe they all actually worked there until we arrived and saw that they did. Everyone, the girls, the staff, everyone was really nice and polite with us, despite the crowd, and they were doing their jobs smoothly. As I said, all the girls who were on the website were actually there at the club, what’s more it wasn’t only them, but others as well, all of them totally hot. The VIP area and the time we spent there was also extremely exciting and satisfying :). At the end we practically weren’t interested in Formula 1 anymore, we were just waiting all day for P1 to open and for us to go back there another time :). Well, Formula 1 is around the corner again and we’ve already got our tickets again. I can recommend this club to anyone who likes high end clubs and having a good time in the company of gorgeous women. I hope this helps you choosing where to go, as I wouldn’t have found this little treasure myself if it weren’t for a review like this posted somewhere on the web!!

I have moved to Budapest from Norway because of my work and I go out here quite a lot at night with my friends and colleagues. Even the bosses from my company, when they come here I’m in charge of them and I have to go with them everywhere to make sure they don’t end up at some bad place. I’ve been reading the comments here and I’m a little surprised that there are people who don’t bother to research things even a little and arrive to Budapest without knowing the first thing about it. Unfortunately something bad is bound to happen to these people. Most of them use the most uncertain of all services, escort girls. To anybody reading this I can give the advice not to do so, because the girls and prices you see on the site are enticing but always false and are totally out of touch with reality. Many thefts happen too during these sessions, but the worst thing is the girl you get is not the one you ordered on the basis of the photos. Not even a similar one. My advice to everyone who wants quality entertainment, but also wants to keep his health and valuables is to pass on escort services. My opinion is the same about illegal brothels operated in rented flats. Their only advantage is you are there in person to choose the girl you want, so no surprises on that front at least. What you should do at places like this is 1. don’t take more money with you than how much you want to spend there. 2. make sure you agree on the services and the price beforehand, because they will try to blatantly rip off 90% of foreigners during the session. Bottom line is I can’t really recommend this kind of “recreation” either, on the basis of the 2 years’ experience I have gained here I exclude even the slightest chance of ever visiting a place like this. This webpage is about the clubs of Budapest, it ranks the clubs on the basis of the ratings given by the visitors and rightly so. It also exposes all the venues that rip off hordes of foreigners with illegal practices. Thank God this tendency has been changing somewhat and now there are clubs which offer European attitude and quality. It is still worth being extremely cautious, because except for the first three bars listed here I for one would never bring any of my friends to either of the other clubs. Agreeing with the many positive experiences written here I’m also a fan of P1 and Royal Palace. The closest to me is P1, both because of its location and its style, as it’s a really youthful, hip club, found right in the middle of the city centre. I wouldn’t even call it a night club, it’s more like a disco full of half naked girls There is proper party atmosphere, every time I went there I felt like I had been partying on Ibiza. Anybody visiting Hungary should give this place a try, right now P1 is the coolest, trendiest and fairest club in Budapest. I hope that was helpful for those who are about to visit here and find these posts and read them before leaving. Cheers to everyone and have a great time in Budapest!
