Attention! There is over billing in this club. It is NOT recommended. After free entry the guests face with a welcome drink costs 60-80 euro and when the girls have a seat at the table they put drinks on your table without being asked to and, of course, the guests should pay for them. Two wine lists are used in most cases.

My adventure in Budapest began outside a downtown restaurant called Kyoto, where we ended up getting into a cab called MaxTaxi with a friend of mine. We asked the driver to take us to a recommendable and honest club with girls galore. We later found out that we asked this from one of the major figures of the taxi mafia, who of course took us to one of the roughest night clubs, to X-play. This place is a right trap. I will use every forum and internet space to warn everybody and tell them not to go here. The staff is awfully pushy and you’re guaranteed to get overbilled. We were there for 1 hour, it was the two of us, we hardly drank anything and we payed 400 Euros. We were charged drinks we never even saw. I hope they’ll take away its licence soon enough, together with the licences of all similar places in Hungary, because a European country cannot afford to have something like this. I’m sure we were neither the first nor the last who got robbed here. That’s why it is beyond me how the police and the authorities can allow all of this. After this happened I talked to some Hungarian friends, who told me that it is mainly this taxi that works from downtown and all they do is take tourists to places where they get ripped off. The money they get is then split between everyone, so it’s great business for all except for the tourist who might even end up with 1000 Euros less. It’s incredible that the Hungarian authorities allow this and they turn a blind eye to what’s going on. That’s not the way to become a part of Europe… I don’t understand what’s in it for them.

One of my mates has just returned from Budapest and the poor fellow ended up at a place called Jet Club. He said he’d got into a cab on the street wanting to go to a disco, and the driver took him to this Jet Club and told him it was a disco full of really hot girls. My friend ended up paying 430 Euros for a couple of beers and he practically had to argue his way out because they wanted him to pay even more. So be sure to avoid this place, because it’s a club well known by the police to be living off frauds against tourists, due to which the municipality had it closed down a while back, but they somehow managed to reopen.

As i know due the serially problems the club was closed by the police. There are only 3 Clubs what i can recommend. They are the Royal Palace (this is my favorit) the Hallo bar and the Forplay. -hungarian boy

WARNING! DO NOT go to this place - they have a hidden minimum charge of 18000HUF (73 euros). It's written on the menu in tiny characters and it's very hard to read. Also by the time you read it, you have to pay anyway. It says free entrance on the door. Other lie: they claim the girls can come home with you but that's not true either. We tried, they say they'd come, then some barman arrives and he says you have buy them a drink first, which has to be consumed on the premises. At that point we decided to move on, and that's when we discovered that we had to pay 18000HUF first. The cab drivers are part of this criminal organization to steal money from turists. Our driver suggested the venue, and when we arrived there he got off the taxi and went to speak to the (5) bouncers, probably claiming his share of the loot. No wonder the place was totally empty at 01:00 on a saturday night. Some of the girls were decent looking but one of them started to become abusive and offensive when we refused to buy her a drink. This place was the only bad thing that happened to us in an otherwise perfect weekend in Budapest.

The first drink 100 dollars. They are crazy.The girls is not nice.
